SummerStage Anywhere: Global Curators in Conversation

As part of the SummerStage Anywhere digital series, I had the pleasure of talking with fellow curators Fabiana Batistela from Brazil and Mercedes Caxaj from Guatemala via Canadá.

SummerStage’s Associate Director of Programming Paula Abreu has spent much of the last decade programming shows and festivals, diversifying bills with a wide range of forward-thinking, international acts. For SummerStage Anywhere’s Global Curators in Conversation panel, she discusses curating live music on a global scale with Fabiana Batistela, the director of SIM São Paulo, a convention for artists, journalists and people passionate about culture and innovation in the music industry, and Mercedes Caxaj, the curator and producer for SunFest Canada.
